FRIDAY HOOFERS
The leaders of the Friday Hoofers group have decided to try out several additional features for this website and to act as a pilot for them. The leaders of the other groups have decided not to use these features at this time. If other groups later decide to try these features, which will require appointing someone to be trained and perform the necessary operations, the features can be added to the website. The Friday Hoofers features are as follows, and are accessed by clicking on the links for them below:
Updates: This feature allows the leaders to post updates and changes and the hikers to check the website and see what has been posted. This feature is also accessible from the Schedules section on the left.
Photos: This feature allows members to submit photos to the group leaders, which the group leaders can post on the website, where they can be viewed by all members (but not by non-members). They can also be downloaded by members. This feature is also accessible from the Other Features section on the left.
Friday Hoofer Hikes: The Friday Hoofers plan to develop a collection of hike descriptions and details, which will be stored and accessible on the website. The schedule will also link to the descriptions. This information is accessed by clicking on the link at the beginning of this paragraph.
Index to Friday Hoofer Hikes: The hike descriptions will include information indexing them by location (and perhaps in the future in other ways). By clicking the link at the beginning of this paragraph, the index can be accessed.
