Tour Bus Accident

Recall our hike to Rim of the Gap today. We saw a bunch of emergency vehicles heading to Caesars head on our way back to NC. Apparently a tour bus with children on board had an accident and crashed into a tree heading down the hill. Fifteen people were transpoted to hospitals including TRs. Luclily we left before the main event. Just thought you'd like to know.

First Annual Friday Hoofers Christmas Gathering

We have decided to hold our first annual “Friday Hoofers Christmas Gathering”. The Pisgah Hiker women don’t have a monopoly on holiday cheer! Let’s get together for a couple beers and dinner following the Case Camp/Seniard Ridge hike on December 11. Hikers will head directly to Dugans immediately following the hike. Those Friday hoofers who can’t hike that day can meet us there. Plan to eat dinner at Dugans if this works out for you.
